Hi, I'm Bianca!
As I embark on this blogging journey, I'm excited to share my story, experiences, and insights with you. With 37 incredible years in the nail and beauty industry, in the Western Cape, I have had the privilege of wearing many hats. From beauty therapist to nail technician, salon owner, educator, and distributor.
As a shy, young, beauty therapist, I discovered my true passion: making people feel beautiful, wanted, and worthwhile. The nail side of the industry gave me the confidence to connect with others and build meaningful relationships. I have always believed that our industry is about so much more than just nails – it's about empowering people to feel their best.
My Journey
Over the years, I've had the privilege of owning multiple salons, educating and training countless of nail technicians, and distributing top-quality products through NSI's Western Cape, Distribution and Training Academy. While I love every aspect of our business, I'm not afraid to admit that paying and collecting bills isn't my favourite part! However, it's all part of the journey, and I've learned so much along the way.
Why I'm Blogging
As our industry continues to evolve, I'm concerned about the lack of knowledge and professionalism that's crept in. I believe it's time to get back to basics – great education, professional and safe products, and happy nail technicians with successful careers.
Through this blog, I hope to share my experiences, insights, and expertise to help make our industry a healthier and safer space once again.
